Coming Soon – My First Adult Hosting Gig on “Full Disclosure”

Steven St. Croix agreed to be my very first guest on the talk show I created and am producing with Eddie Powell. Stay tuned for the shenanigans and find out why he walks out of the interview!

Chatting it Up with THE Gabrielle Anex!

Here is the WOMAN behind all the feature editing at New Sensations! Gabrielle Anex is one of the best editors in the adult industry (nominated an obscene amount of times over the years for AVN/XBIZ awards). This picture was taken by a coworker who went all paparazzi on us as we took our daily afternoon walk.

Love me some Gabrielle!

The same coworker tests out the WowFX app.

Angel headed straight to hell (me, no Gab).

AVN Nominations – 2013 … Let the Excitement Begin

The laborious task of selecting all of the films for this year’s 2013 AVN nominations is finally complete. I am very much looking forward to AEE and AVN this year and being a part of the excitement all over again.

This past year, I directed two films, “Power and Control” and “Torn” (which I co-directed with Eddie Powell. I am beyond thrilled that I received Best Directing nominations for both projects!

A still of Danny Mountain and Maddy O’Reilly (Best New Starlet Nominee at AVN) from Power and Control.

AVN, once again, has been truly good to me. All in all I received 3 personal award nods (2 for directing and 1 for screenwriting). I know it sounds rather cliche, but being nominated really is such an incredible feeling – regardless of who ends up winning. I know that the competition is stiff this year, and I’ll even be rooting for some competing studios in certain categories (not all).

I was equally thrilled to see New Sensations/Digital Sin and some of my closest friends receive nods this year (Steven St. Croix, Remy LaCroix, Eddie Powell, Josh Wheldon, Natasha Nice, and Bonnie Rotten). Without further adieu, I would like to share the trailers for some of the movies that I am rooting for, this AVN season – and they aren’t all New Sensations Flicks.

Nominated for 9 AVN Awards (Best Romance Release, Best Actor-Steven St. Croix, Best Actress-Remy LaCroix, Best Supporting Actress Raylene and India Summer, Best Director-Eddie Powell and Jacky St. James, Best Screenplay-Jacky St. James, Best Cinematography-Eddie Powell and Paul Woodcrest, Best Boy/Girl Sex Scene-Remy LaCroix and Steven St. Croix)

Nominated for 4 AVN Awards (Best Romance Release, Best Actor-Anthony Rosano, Best Editing-Gabrielle Anex, Best Supporting Actor-Xander Corvus)

Nominated for 3 AVN Awards (Best All-Girl Group Scene-Bonnie Rotten, Asphyxia Noir, Skin Diamond, Best Director-Eddie Powell, Best Star Showcase). Ms. Rotten also is an AVN trophy girl and Best New Starlet nominee this year, a huge honor given it’s her first year in the biz.

Nominated for 16 AVN Awards from Elegant Angel (Best Actress-Lily LaBeau/Lily Carter, Best Director-Graham Travis, Best Cinematography-Alex Ladd, Mason, Carols D., Best DVD Extras, Best Editing-Graham Travis, Best Screenplay-Graham Travis, Best Drama, Best Girl/Girl Scene-Lily LaBeau and Lily Carter, Best Group Sex Scene-Lily LaBeau, Lily Carter, Mick Blue, Best Music Soundtrack, Best Oral Scene-Lily LaBeau and Lily Carter, Best Original Song-Erlisha Tamplin, Best Overall Marketing Campaign, Best Packaging)

Nominated for 16 AVN Awards from Wicked Pictures (Best Cinematography-Francois Clousot, Best DVD Extras, Best Editing-Marcus London, Best Makeup-Melissa Makeup, Best Overall Marketing Campaign, Best Parody-Drama, Best Screenplay-Marcus London, Best Supporting Actor-Tony DeSergio and Tommy Gunn, Best Supporting Actress-Gracie Glam and Devon Lee, Best Actor-Marcus London, Best Art Direction)

Congrats to ALL of this year’s nominees – it is an honor to be part of such a talented group of people and filmmakers. Thank you to everyone at AVN for recognizing New Sensations and Digital Sin in so many categories.
